Neurological
Our physiotherapists assess and provide appropriate treatment for people with movement and function disorders that have originated from problems within the body’s nervous and neuromuscular system.
Such conditions may manifest themselves as:
- muscle weakness
- poor balance
- uncoordinated movements
- uncontrolled muscle spasm
- tremors
- loss of function
- decreased sensation
Common neurological conditions treated include:
- Stroke/ CVA or TIA
- spinal cord & traumatic brain injury
- multiple sclerosis
- Parkinson’s disease
- Post-polio
- Muscular dystrophy
This service may be an adjunct to neurological physiotherapy already prescribed.

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that addresses problems in the musculoskeletal system (including joints, discs, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves) that cause pain, stiffness and weakness. The approach relies on accurate assessment, skilled techniques and appropriate advice.
Our physiotherapy services include treatment of the following common conditions:
- Back and neck pain
- Shoulder pain
- Knee pain
- Headache and whiplash
- Joint and soft tissue injuries (ligament and tendon problems)
- Sports injuries
- Work-related injuries
- Pre/post-surgery rehabilitation
Please note that Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), Return to Work SA, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Medicare patients are required to have a referral from their GP prior to the commencement of treatment.
Aged Care and Respite
We provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of common aged care issues in private dwellings or nursing home environments. This includes rehabilitation services for people who are in short term respite care to maximise recovery and improve function before returning home.
The aim of our service is to work with an individual to maximise their mobility and function, to help them remain independent in their own home/ accommodation.
Our physiotherapists are experienced in a wide range of conditions and treatments. A thorough assessment is undertaken and then an individual program designed.
Common conditions treated include:
- Pre/post-surgery rehabilitation. (Including post joint replacements)
- Post illness re-conditioning.
- Falls prevention and safety.
- Improving mobility, balance and strength.
- Confidence building
- Pain
We work with experienced Occupational Therapists who can perform “Activities of Daily Living” assessments and prescribe aids when appropriate.
We are happy to see clients under the auspices of the EPC program, please be aware gap payments for home visits are required.
Disability
We are registered NDIS providers.
We work with individuals on:
- enhancing their quality of movement
- improving daily function
- achieving potential
Where appropriate we will liaise with other health providers, ensuring that all therapy is complementing existing services.
