Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that addresses problems in the musculoskeletal system (including joints, discs, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves) that cause pain, stiffness and weakness. The approach relies on accurate assessment, skilled techniques and appropriate advice.

Our physiotherapy services include treatment of the following common conditions:

Aged Care and Respite

We provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of common aged care issues in private dwellings or nursing home environments. This includes rehabilitation services for people who are in short term respite care to maximise recovery and improve function before returning home.

The aim of our service is to work with an individual to maximise their mobility and function, to help them remain independent in their own home/ accommodation.

Our physiotherapists are experienced in a wide range of conditions and treatments. A thorough assessment is undertaken and then an individual program designed.

Common conditions treated include:

  • Pre/post-surgery rehabilitation. (Including post joint replacements)
  • Post illness re-conditioning.
  • Falls prevention and safety.
  • Improving mobility, balance and strength.
